Professional Experience :
Mirza Md.Tareque Ali is a highly attained person with a grand career in the civil service over 22 years . He is a member of Bangladesh civil service (Audit and Accounts Cadre) 22nd batch (2003). Prior to assuming the office of The Senior Finance Controller (Works) on 14 September, 2026 Mirza Md.Tareque Ali was Divisional Controller of Accounts ( Dhaka Division) . In his career, he had served as Addl. Financial Adviser & Chief Accounts Officer (West), Bangladesh Railway, Rajshahi ; Divisional Controller of Accounts ( Rangpur Division); Joint Finance Controller in the office of Senior Finance Controller (Navy), Dhaka Cantonment ; Area Finance Controller (Army), Bogura Cantonment ; Chief Accounts Officer, office of the chief Accounts officer, Prime Ministers Office; Deputy Director of Commercial Audit Directorate; Deputy Director of Performance Audit Directorate; Deputy Financial Adviser and chief Accounts Officer (Dhaka), Bangladesh Railway.
Academically he holds a masters of Science in Geology from the University of Dhaka. He also graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Science with Honors in Geology from the Same University. He visited many countries like India,Malaysia , Qatar, Abu Dhabi , U.S.A etc. as part of Mission Audit and Foreign Training and Workshop.
Mirza Md.Tareque Ali was born in a respected noble Muslim family of Natore. In his personal life, he is married. His Wife is a homemaker by profession. They are blessed with a son only.
